Family community events
1. A treasure hunt
What better way to get acquainted with your community and to test the local knowledge of your peers than by hosting a treasure hunt? This is a brilliant, family-fun activity that’s best reserved for when the weather is likely to play ball so that everyone can enjoy the great outdoors. Encourage your community to split into teams and follow a set of clues that will lead them around the community, before finally finding the ‘treasure’.
You could offer a host of fun prizes for those who get there the quickest, have the best team name or perhaps attend in fancy dress. To make it a little more competitive and interactive you could even require your teams to submit a fun photo at each checkpoint or clue location.
